Architect real-time data pipelines and ML feature stores processing millions of daily e-commerce checkout events and fraud detection signals at Klarna.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance applications using Python, Kafka, AWS.
- Participate in technical architecture reviews, engineering discussions, and sprint planning.
- Maintain high code quality standards through automated testing, peer code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to translate customer feedback into production-grade features.
Requirements
- 5+ years building streaming and batch data architectures (Kafka, Flink, Spark)
- Strong Python and SQL skills with experience optimizing petabyte-scale data lakes
- Experience deploying machine learning models on Kubernetes / AWS SageMaker
- Understanding of data governance, lineage, and privacy regulations (GDPR)
