About the role
About the Role We're looking for a hands-on Senior DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead our multicloud strategy and keep production systems reliable while we scale. You'll take primary ownership of extending our existing Azure footprint into AWS, own our CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices end-to-end, and act as the technical conscience of the team when it comes to reliability and security. This is a role for someone who has done this before — at real scale, with real clients — and who is comfortable pushing back when shortcuts put production at risk. Responsibilities Drive the multicloud strategy end-to-end: design, prove out, and operationalize AWS alongside our existing Azure footprint Own CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment automation across all environments Partner with engineering squads to make cloud migration decisions grounded in real client load and production data Maintain the reliability of production systems throughout infrastructure changes and migrations Integrate AI tools into the DevOps workflow — including tooling, automation, and testing Push back against shortcuts that threaten reliability or security, and advocate for sound engineering practices Requirements Real production experience running infrastructure at scale, for real clients — not just lab or greenfield environments Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years working with public cloud platforms Experience working across more than one cloud provider, or having led a cloud migration Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform, with the ability to audit and review Infrastructure-as-Code Comfortable operating in regulated or high-stakes environments with strict security requirements Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code, and comfort integrating them into daily engineering work Nice to Have Experience with Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Background in the FinTech industry
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance applications using React, TypeScript, Next.js.
- Participate in technical architecture reviews, engineering discussions, and sprint planning.
- Maintain high code quality standards through automated testing, peer code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to translate customer feedback into production-grade features.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional engineering experience with modern TypeScript and React.
- Experience building high-performance web applications with Next.js App Router.
